Description:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Kitchen Joinery Estimator based in Christchurch. This role is ideal for someone with a background in joinery who’s looking for their next opportunity. You’ll be supporting the head estimator in the busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate quotes and tender submissions for kitchen and household joinery
- Liaising with designers to ensure clear understanding of project requirements
- Sourcing and reviewing competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting the team during busy periods and covering leave as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in joinery estimation or a similar role
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Proficiency with Xero quoting systems and Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently, manage a high workflow, and meet deadlines
- Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills
- A positive, professional attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
The Offer:
- Full-Time hours | Monday – Friday
- Pay rate of $32–$35/hour, depending on experience
