About the role:
As Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of site operations from start to finish – coordinating subcontractors, managing timelines, and ensuring quality delivery on all fronts. You’ll lead, mentor, and support a team of carpenters and apprentices while maintaining clear communication with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and trade partners.
Your leadership will be key to delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll also drive toolbox meetings, oversee QA and compliance processes, and maintain accurate site reporting.
What’s required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction
- Proven experience delivering high-value, complex projects
- Strong leadership and team management skills – confident mentoring and developing others
- Trade background or relevant tertiary qualification
- Excellent understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and Health & Safety leadership
- Experience in healthcare or hospital builds advantageous, but not essential
- Strong financial awareness and project reporting capability
