Our sister company is a well-established frames and trusses manufacturer based in Christchurch, supplying quality solutions to residential and light commercial projects across both North and South Island. Due to continued demand, we are seeking an experienced Frames & Trusses Estimator to join their team.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for frames and trusses packages, working closely with sales, production, and customers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating frames and trusses from architectural and structural plans
- Preparing quotations and tender submissions
- Liaising with external and internal teams
- Reviewing plans for accuracy, buildability, and compliance
- Managing pricing, variations, and value engineering where required
About You
- Proven experience estimating timber frames and trusses (essential)
- Strong understanding of NZ building methods and standards
- Experience with Frameworks, MiTek, or similar estimating systems
- High attention to detail and strong numerical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
