Are you an experienced labourer with a solid background in foundations work? We’re looking for a motivated individual to join a hardworking crew on a range of residential and commercial ribraft foundation projects across Christchurch.
This is an exciting opportunity with long-term potential, including the chance to work toward an apprenticeship and develop a career in the construction industry.
To be considered, you must have:
- At least 2 years of experience in labouring, specifically in foundation work
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- A Site Safe ticket (preferred) – if you don’t have one but have experience, we can help you get it
- The ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- A commitment to site safety and high-quality workmanship
The role includes:
- Assisting with profile and setout
- Working with formwork and foundation prep
- Reading and understanding plans and specs
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient worksite
- Contributing to long-term projects as a reliable team player
