About the Role:
 
We are seeking an experienced and proven Class 5 driver from within the New Zealand civil construction industry. This position requires a skilled driver who can safely and efficiently handle the loading and unloading of various heavy plant and machinery in diverse environments and locations. The job is expected to provide approximately 40-50 hours of work per week, operating from Monday to Friday, with some weekend work as needed. Shift hours will vary, so reliability and an early start are essential.
 
What’s Required:
 
– Full Class 5 Licence (with WTR endorsement)
– BESS Registration (an advantage)
– Class 2 Pilot’s Licence (an advantage)
– Proven experience in transporting heavy and oversized plant equipment
– Confident in reversing a truck and trailer, managing jack-knifing, and using a road ranger gearbox
– Experience with tipping and spreading
– A strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude
– A flexible mindset, willing to assist with various operations and tasks
– Comfortable working on civil and residential sites across metro and regional areas
– A strong commitment to Health and Safety
