With demand growing rapidly in the heat pump and HVAC space, they are now seeking an experienced technician to strengthen and grow this side of the business.
 
The Role:
 
This is a senior, hands-on Heat Pump Technician / HVAC Technician role responsible for the installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of residential and light commercial systems across Canterbury.
 
You will manage your own work in the field while working alongside a supportive team of skilled electricians.
 
The role includes:

  • Heat pump installation (high wall, ducted, floor console, etc.)
  • Heat pump servicing and preventative maintenance
  • HVAC system troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Residential and light commercial installations
  • Customer support and technical advice on-site
  • Maintaining strong workmanship and safety standards

For the right person, there is a clear pathway to help build and lead the heat pump division as the business continues to expand.

This role suits a qualified and experienced Heat Pump / HVAC Technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving problems.
 
You will bring:

  • Several years’ experience installing and servicing heat pumps
  • Strong HVAC fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Relevant HVAC trade qualification or certification
  • Ability to work independently and manage jobs
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • High standard of workmanship and professionalism
  • Full NZ Class 1 Driver Licence
