We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Detailer to join a well-established Christchurch-based joinery business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company that values quality, innovation, and teamwork.
About the Role
As a Kitchen Detailer, you will play a critical role in ensuring projects move seamlessly from design through to manufacture and installation. You will work closely with designers, project managers, production teams, installers, clients, and suppliers to ensure every project is delivered accurately and on schedule.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing detailed kitchen and joinery plans from designer concepts
- Conducting on-site measurements and site visits
- Liaising with homeowners, builders, project managers, and subcontractors
- Ordering materials and products to meet project deadlines
- Programming and detailing cabinetry using Microvellum
- Managing projects from initial measure through to completion
- Ensuring drawings and specifications are accurate and production-ready
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Detailer, Joinery Detailer, or Joinery Programmer
- Strong experience using Microvellum or similar joinery software
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- A proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A commitment to quality workmanship and health and safety
