We’re looking for a positive, practical person to join a well-established automated door service team in South Dunedin. If you’ve got electrical or mechanical experience, strong communication skills, and a good attitude, this could be a great long-term opportunity.

About the role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial automated doors. You’ll receive on-the-job training and be supported to build the skills needed to succeed in the role.
You’ll be working across Otago, Monday to Friday, generally from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some flexibility needed when clients require urgent support.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, easy to work with, and committed to a long-term opportunity.

What we’re looking for

  • A qualified electrician or someone working toward an electrical licence would be an advantage.
  • Full NZ Class 1 licence, with the ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
  • Previous experience in a mechanical or technical role.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence using hand and power tools.
  • A strong focus on health and safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Someone who works well independently and as part of a team.
