The role would suit an Electrician who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers and can confidently manage the practical administration needed to keep jobs moving and close them out properly.

About the role
You’ll be working as part of a capable electrical team, completing a range of installation, maintenance and fault-finding work across the Reefton area and surrounding communities.
- Electrical installations, repairs and maintenance
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Residential, commercial, rural and industrial electrical work
- Communicating with customers and providing practical solutions
- Completing job documentation and keeping records up to date
- Assisting with quotes and variations
- Updating job information and helping close out completed work
- Using a phone, laptop or job management system for basic administration
You won’t be expected to sit behind a desk all day, but you will need to be comfortable with the admin that supports a well-run electrical business.
What we’re looking for
- Current New Zealand EWRB practising licence
- Solid electrical experience and strong technical ability
- Confidence with fault-finding
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using basic technology for job records, quotes and administration
- A full New Zealand Driver Licence
- A reliable, practical approach and pride in delivering quality work
