Originally from South Africa, I joined the recruitment world in 2021 and now specialise in the Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Logistics sectors. Over the years, I’ve developed a real niche in these industries, understanding what makes teams tick and what it takes to find the right talent that drives results.
I’m passionate about building lasting relationships with both clients and candidates, taking the time to truly understand what each side needs. For me, recruitment isn’t just about filling a role; it’s about finding the perfect fit that supports long-term success.
I often see recruitment a bit like a marriage, you can’t just say “I do” and hope for the best. It’s about creating partnerships built on trust, communication, and understanding.
I have a knack for finding those “impossible-to-find” candidates for hard-to-fill roles, the kind that others might overlook. That challenge is where I thrive, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing a placement turn into a long-term success story for both the client and the candidate.
Outside of the office, I’m an early riser who genuinely enjoys kicking off the day with a workout, whether that’s a spinning class or a sweaty HIIT session at the gym. There’s something about that early-morning workout that clears my head and sets a positive tone for the day. Plus, it means my afternoons are free to relax after work, spending time with my husband, and enjoying some much-needed downtime.
On the weekends, you’ll almost always find me outdoors soaking up the beautiful scenery of the country we now get to call home. Coming from South Africa, a weekend isn’t complete without a good braai (BBQ)! Food is definitely my love language, and I’m forever on the hunt for new restaurants, local food spots, and hidden gems. I have a bit of a superpower for sniffing out the best food deals and shopping specials, so if there’s a discount somewhere, I’ll probably know about it first.
When I’m not exploring or eating my way through town, I’m happiest at home with a glass of wine in hand, our two Ragdoll cats curled up nearby, and either a good thriller book or a true crime documentary on. It’s the perfect way to unwind and recharge before diving into another busy week.
