MIG Welder
We are currently looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy team on a temporary project based in Christchurch East.
Our client is working to meet tight project deadlines and requires additional support to help deliver high-quality work. This role will involve working on steel containers, so strong MIG welding experience is essential.
What’s on Offer:
- $30 – $35 + 8% holiday pay (based on experience)
- Monday to Friday, full-time hours (40 hours per week)
- Immediate start available
- Approx. 2-month project, with potential to extend
Key Responsibilities:
- MIG welding on steel containers
- Ensuring high-quality welds and finishes
- Working efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in MIG welding
- Valid MIG welding ticket (required)
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable and able to commit to the duration of the project
- Flexibility in case the project extends

- Willingness to complete a welding test prior to placement
- Must have valid NZ working rights and be located in NZ.
