About the Role
As a key member of the timber yard team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and organisation of building materials while providing support and guidance to your team where required.
- Leading the team through strong work ethic and safety practices
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Supporting daily yard operations and workflow
- Assisting customers and team members as required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
Hours
- Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm
- Every second Saturday, 8:00am to 12:00pm
What We’re Looking For
- Previous merchant or trade industry experience (essential)
- Natural leadership skills and strong commitment to health and safety
- Physically fit and ability to work in all weather conditions
- Excellent numeracy and customer service skills
- Current OSH Forklift Certificate with F Endorsement (must have)
