We’re looking for capable, switched-on electricians to join a growing Christchurch business with a strong reputation for reliable service and quality workmanship. Whether your experience is focused on one of these areas or spans across all three, this is an opportunity to work on varied projects while being part of a supportive and professional team.
You’ll be hands-on across installations, maintenance, fault-finding and project work, with some administration involved to help keep jobs organised and ensure completed work is properly closed out.

About the role
This is a practical, hands-on position for an Electrician who enjoys variety and takes pride in completing work to a high standard.
Depending on your experience, your work may include:
- Commercial electrical installations, maintenance and repairs
- Industrial electrical work and fault-finding
- Solar installations, servicing and associated electrical work
- Testing, commissioning and troubleshooting
- Working from plans, specifications and job requirements
- Communicating with customers, site teams and colleagues
- Supporting apprentices or less-experienced team members when required
- Completing job notes, timesheets and compliance documentation
- Assisting with quotes, variations and material requirements
- Updating job information and helping close out completed work
You won’t be expected to spend your day behind a desk, but you will need to be comfortable using basic technology and completing the administration that helps jobs run smoothly.
What we’re looking for
- Proven New Zealand experience as an Electrician
- Commercial, industrial or solar experience; experience across more than one area is advantageous
- Current EWRB registration or practising licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Good understanding of electrical safety and compliance
- Ability to read plans and work confidently across different job requirements
- Comfortable completing job documentation, quotes and close-out administration
- Professional communication skills and a positive attitude
- Full New Zealand Driver Licence
- Full working rights in New Zealand
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks
