About the Role:
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll work closely with both customers and team members while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and organised yard.
This role involves working on your feet throughout the day and in varying weather conditions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting trade and retail customers with product enquiries
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Loading and unloading building materials
- Operating forklifts and yard equipment
- Supporting the wider team as required
We’re Looking For:
- Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence (manual and automatic)
- Current Forklift (Licence (highly desirable)
- Experience in timber, building supplies (advantageous)
- Strong communication and numeracy skills
- Physically fit | Lifting and carrying products throughout the day
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 5:30pm
- Every second Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm
