Forklift Operator
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment in Rolleston. This is a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who is confident working in a fast-paced factory setting and enjoys being part of a hands-on team.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for moving timber around the factory for frame and truss manufacturing, as well as loading and unloading trucks. You will need to be confident operating a forklift in a timber yard or manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
What we are looking for
- Current OSH forklift certificate.
- Confident moving timber and operating in a factory environment.
- Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on role.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attitude.
- NZ working rights.
- Must be currently located in New Zealand.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
Details
- Location: Rolleston
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:30pm
- Pay rate: Starting at $27 per hour, depending on experience
- Type: Long-term, temp to perm opportunity
