The Role
You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing and maintaining auto electrical systems across specialist vehicles and equipment. This includes fault-finding, wiring, component replacement, testing, and supporting the safe and efficient operation of a range of hydraulic and transport-related systems.
You’ll work closely with the wider team to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard, with accurate records and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair auto electrical faults across specialist vehicles and equipment.
- Carry out wiring, testing, servicing and installation work.
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic and control system issues.
- Support maintenance, repair and certification activities as required.
- Keep accurate job records and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a tidy, organised and professional work area.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A trade qualification in auto electrical or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in auto electrical, diagnostic or similar technical work.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
- A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-service mindset.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
